Hi friends!

I thought I would join the rest of the blogging world to give some updates about my life. I'm also leaving in a week for my mission trip to South Africa and thought this would be a great way for you all to check up on what's going on there.

I cannot explain how excited I am about this trip! I leave next Wednesday from LA, stop in London for a few hours, and then head on down to Cape Town. I was checking on my flight info this morning and reading the airline's "travel tips" for these long flights...apparently there are even Pilates exercises you can do on the plane to help the fatigue... so can you imagine me bringing my giant, inflatable ball to do crunches in the aisles?? I am excited for the 3 course meals and continuous entertainment options...that should help the 10/11 hour flights go by a bit faster!

I would truly appreciate your prayers during this week before I leave...that God would give me peace and good health as I get ready to leave. Please also pray that I will trust God completely with this trip...I don't want to put any expectations on what I think should happen or how I am going to be changed. The only expectation I have is that the Lord is going to do amazing things; what those are exactly are up to Him. I hope you all are doing well!
