Hi everyone...
I wanted to send another quick post and ask for some prayer. I met a girl here named Nopinki...she is 21 and currently in school studying theology and counseling. So, of course, we connected really fast! :) I have actually gotten to spend a good amount of time with her and she has become like a sister to me. She is an amazing, mature, beautiful young woman of God and I love her! She came to hang out with our team today because there are a few of us who are close to her. She told us that, late last night, her father passed away from tuberculosis. She had a very difficult relationship with him until two months ago, when she prayed with him to receive Christ. Please pray for her as her family is putting so much responsibility on her and she doesn't have a lot of time to grieve. She invited a few of us to her house today to meet her family...I met her mother and grandmother. I have never met these women before...but with tears in her eyes, her grandmother just hugged me and we cried together. It was a moment that changed my life. Please pray for their family in the coming week...All is well with our team and we're coming home soon!
much love... alair

Dear Alair, as I read your blog today, I thought of God's perfect timing in having you there with Nopinki and in the arms of her mom and grandmother. I can think of no one else who can impart God's love, mercy, and compassion, as well as His strength than you..I would ask that the HolySpirt would go there ever so quickly and comfort and heal as no one can the hearts of Nopinki and her family in the loss of this loved one. Jesus, would you please empower Alair and show Alair all you are asking her to do with this family. Thank you that her and the team can minister to her "sister" Nopinki and that they would all truly have the comfort and peace that only you can bring..and as I pray this for my sweet daughter and her family there, may they be praying for us as well, here..as today our sweet friend, Kathi Simon, died this morning with another servant of yours, Debbie, who was with her and her family, Mark, Mike, and Casey. Holy Spirit, your power knows no bounds or distance or time difference and with the same healing and comfort you give Alair there and others..will you do the same for us here..grieving the loss of Kathi and comforting her children and her husband as well as up-holding Debbie. I pray this and I do ask this in the name of Jesus and I thank you, once again, for the priviledge of watching your daughter, first...then mine..do your work on the other side of the world as you empower me to pray and do what you are asking of us here..amen and amen. I am sorry I have had to tell you this news, Alair, over this blog..but I know you will be praying for us. I love and miss you dearly.

"The comfort you have received is the comfort you will give to others"....scripture is being worked out and proven to be utterly accurate in the way that God promises and then fulfills. As you held that grieving mother and grandmother, you were passing the literal Spirit in you into them...Amazing. The way you have fallen in love with this "sister" of yours is supernatural...and having your "life changed" by it is also a huge work of God. We knew that something radical in the Spirit would happen if you'de let go..surrender..and let God use His ways which are not your ways. And He has outdone Himself. And I am going to use my quiet time this morning to say, "Thank you Father God that you have overwhelmed the precious heart and life of Alair"

Hello Sissy, I have been reading your messages and praying daily for all of you. Learning to just show up and listen is an act that will Bless you in everything you attempt to do in life.I will pray as you come down from an awesome Mountain top experience into the valley of L.A. that you remember- "Our hope, that each of us has,is in the Power of God working thru the hearts of people." Thats where your hope is in the time God used you in South Africa, and thats where our hope is in all of life. Travel safe and please call me when you get back. Love Dad
